Pattern package includes:
1. A4 / lettersize print file, separate for each crown and brim in each size, so you can print only parts you currently need
2. Plotter print file, 90 cm wide. All parts of each size combined together

You will need:
- Fabric min 84 x 36 cm, max 94 x 46 cm depending on size and chosen brim;
- 2 mm elastic cord 38 - 147 cm, depending on size and brim reinforcement;
- 5mm eyelet;
- Cordlock that can take two strands of 2mm cord;
- Bias tape 14-18 mm wide, around 70 cm;
- By combining 3 crowns with 3 brims you could create 9 different hats;
- Detailed illustrated instruction for basic build included;
- Hat features adjustable elastic on the back and comes in 7 sizes;
SIZING
UPD 10.08.21:
7 sizes are now available, based on head circumference:
3XS - 48-50 cm / 18 7/8” - 19 11/16”
2XS - 50-52 cm / 19 11/16” - 20 1/2”
XS - 52-54 cm / 20 1/2” - 21 1/4"
S - 54-56 cm / 21 1/4" - 22"
M - 56-58 cm / 22" - 22 13/16"
L - 58-60 cm / 22 13/16" - 23 5/8"
XL - 60-62 cm / 23 5/8" - 24 3/8"
New size range should cover humans from age ~2 to infinity.
(note: instructions file doesn't contain cord lengths for sizes 3XS, 2XS, XS and XL, since they were added later, you will find a separate pdf with that info in the downloaded package)
Hat is adjustable so essentially anyone with head circumference less or equal 62 cm can wear size XL and cinch it down, so if not sure - size up.
FABRIC RECCOMENDATION
Light (starting with 100 g/sqm) to heavy.
Heavier / more structured the fabric is - less likely you would need to do brim edge reinforcement.
BUCKET vs. BOONIE
What is the difference? Bucket hat has a more narrow brim that is sloping down at a steeper angle, closer to the face, whereas boonie hat has wider brim that is more 'flat'
