The Core Warmer is an ergonomically shaped, down-filled front panel designed to warm the body's core front, leaving the back and shoulders exposed for ventilation and bulk-reduction.

For anyone who might need an extra layer of warmth on the chest, including; hikers, bikers, mountaineers, skiers, backpackers and travelers.
When you are wearing a backpack, it keeps your back warm (and even too hot sometimes), so an insulating vest would be an overkill, but just a front half of it, read a Core Warmer, will do the work of keeping your chest protected from cold and wind. Second type of situation, where Core Warmer has shown itself very useful, is during forward moving intense activity. Like cycling, skiing, running, ice-skating, basically when you move forward with some speed, which creates apparent wind that is always hitting your chest, and due to the physical effort your back is prone to be sweaty. Disbalance of wind-cooled chest and sweaty back is alleviated by the Core Warmer.
 
POCKET:
 
Pocket has two compartments, one without closure, one with zipper.
Zipper features double-sided slider, allowing core wamer to be stuffed inside it.
 
POCKET PLACEMENT OPTIONS:
CHEST pocket - backpack compatible, as it is out of the way of hipbelt or sternum strap;
BELLY pocket - best suited for cycling, top access allow to stow away quickly small items, like gloves, while riding.
 
POCKET COLOR OPTIONS:
either black or the same color as the core warmer itself.

MAIN FABRIC: windproof nylon (fabric face might vary depending on color, e.g. might have microripstop pattern on it or be completely smooth. Inquire in advance if you care for specific look)
FASTENERS: Fidlock buckle at the waist, KAM plastic snaps at the neck
ZIPPER: YKK #3 coil with locking sliders
 
INSULATION CHOICE:
1. 700 FP recycled down
2. 850 FP down
 
Note 1: FP stands for Fill Power, value 700 or 850 represents how many cubic inches an ounce of down will occupy at its maximum loft. In short: higher the FP - lower the weight of down needed.
Note 2: Recycled down comes from Re:Down, they recover filling from used bedding products and sleeping bags and rigorously clean and sort it. Thanks to Re:Down support of my small scale manufacturing for providing me with lower than their usual MOQ quantities, so that I can offer this truly sustainable option to you.
Note 3: Recycled down is not all white, it has som egrey down as well, this could be visible in the final product if fabric color is not completely opaque (Blaze Orange - slightly not opaque, Hot Pink - 50% opaque). If you carefully look at the pictures of orange Neck Warmer you can spot darker spots.

And then check if waist circumference for the chosen size match well:
XS: 62 - 67cm (24.5 - 26.4")
S: 66.5 - 76cm (26.2 - 30")
M: 76 - 96 (30 - 35.4")
L: 86 - 103 cm (33.8 - 40.5")
XL: 95 - 123 (37.4 - 48.4")
 
GOOD FIT: waist minimum to be slightly bigger or equal to your waist circumference, that way you can achieve a tight fit over the base layer, at the same time you will have ample room for adding more layers as well as just lengthening the waist strap for ventilation.
EXAMPLE: female model, wearing orange one on photos, has waist circumference 76 cm (height 172 cm) and size M fits well. Male model, wearing blue core warmer, has waist circumference 94 cm (height 188 cm) and feels comfortable wearing size Large.
 
Difference between sizes is not only in the length of waist strap, front panel changes width and height between sizes S, M and L. 
Measured at center front it is approximately:

M - 46.5 cm

DETAILED STORY:
The Core Warmer is designed to protect the body's core from the wind and cold. Constructed from windproof fabrics and natural goose down, it keeps the body warm while the open-back design promotes ventilation, and prevents overheating under your pack. The front panel is constructed from windproof tafetta nylon, and filled with high-quality 850 fill natural goose down. The front panel is ergonomically shaped to protect the areas most prone to the cold.
The shoulders and sides remain exposed, significantly reducing bulk compared to a conventional down vests. The panel is finished with an elastic binding, designed to keep garment close to the body to lock-in warmth and prevent side drafts.
A chest zipper with two sliders is added to control the level of ventilation, zipper can be opened from top down or from bottom up.
The neck and waist straps make it easy to put on, without the need to remove your outter shell, jacket or backpack. The adjustable waist strap is fitted with a FidlockⓇ mechano-magnetic buckle, which self-connects when the buckle is in close proximity, and is easily opened with just one hand. The neck strap uses a long hook and loop (velcro) tab closure, allowing for an adjustable fit.
